Apartment in the center of Prague located in a street with buildings from the end of the 1900s. The last two floors in the building had been added in the early 1900s and had not retained the same atmosphere as the apartments in the first three floors. The project consisted of redesigning the entire apartment, adding a new bathroom, relocating the kitchen area and providing a more stately character to the apartment as well as comfort. It was my intention to capture the atmosphere of the apartments in the lower floors and to make it present in this apartment. This was done by replacing the tiles in the entrance area with parquet, replacing the existing doors and adding height to them, opening up the spaces by eliminating a narrow corridor and giving the aparment an elegant character, with a mix of modern and old.
